To install and use the full pack of prompts copy the 'ru' folders 
from the contents of the Sounds folder into their respective duplicates 
in your Asterisk system.

Installed Sound folder structure:

/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/               - Current folder
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/ru             - New folder copied in
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/dictate        - Current folder
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/dictate/ru     - New folder copied in
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/digits         - Current folder
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/digits/ru      - New folder copied in
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/letters        - Current folder
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/letters/ru     - New folder copied in
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/phonetics      - Current folder
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/phonetics/ru   - New folder copied in


You can extract the voice prompts and automatically install the folders 
and prompts in their correct locations by extracting the contents of 
the sound.tar.gz file.

1) Extract the tar.gz file you receive. It will be called something like:  
'Russian-Tamara-2.0-alaw.tar.gz' 

2) Inside the resulting directory you will find a second file 
called 'sounds.tar.gz'. 

3) Copy this to the parent folder containing your sounds directory. 
(this is normally found in "/var/lib/asterisk/") 

It will look like this (not all items are shown)
...
/var/lib/asterisk/keys
/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds.tar.gz

4) Extract the sounds using the command:
tar -zxf sounds.tar.gz
 
5) Add or customise the language parameter in the sip.conf file to be:

"Language=ru"

Then reload asterisk. This configuration allows any prompts that are not
part of the standard pack to automatically use the American voice prompts so
you don't get blocks of silence.

Because the asterisk open-source projects are continuously being updated
there are occasions when new prompts are introduced or renamed, resulting in
the default American voice being used. If you come across any such instances
let us know and we will quickly send you an updated product.

These prompts are licensed on a per client / per machine basis. Meaning They
cannot be installed on more than one machine and are for your exclusive use.
